Do I need experience to join?

Having previous experience in the industry is a preferred. But we welcome new and experienced agents. We have all the tools you need to be successful as a travel advisor new or experienced.

What’s expected of me as an independent advisor?

What are the agency's fees I can expect?

At Clouds Avenue Travel, clarity is non-negotiable. You can expect an annual hosting fee that covers your licensing access, tech systems, CRM, training, support, and agency resources.

There are no hidden fees, no surprises, and no MLM structure, you earn commission on your bookings, not recruiting.

We will clearly review and discuss this matter during your interview, so you know exactly what to expect before joining our team.

What do the agency fees cover?

Our agency fees are designed to give independent advisors access to the tools, support, and industry connections needed to operate their travel business professionally and confidently.

They include, among other things:

Access to a wide network of trusted travel suppliers
Use of our CRM system to manage leads, clients, and bookings
Access to our private team Facebook group and chat for community, support, and updates
Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage
Ongoing training and professional development
Monthly one-on-one goal-mapping and mentoring sessions with a Travel Industry Certified Coach
Marketing guidance and assistance
Access to Travel Leaders Network resources and preferred partnerships
A professional agency email address
A personal Calendly link for easy appointment scheduling

What kind of support and training is offered to new Travel Advisors?

At Clouds Avenue Travel, we believe that every new journey starts with guidance and support. That’s why we provide personalized one-on-one coaching and mentoring for the first 90 days of your engagement. During this time, we focus on building your confidence and expertise, equipping you with the tools to succeed in the dynamic travel industry.

Beyond this initial phase, our commitment to your growth doesn’t stop. We host monthly all-hands meetings to address team needs and share valuable insights. And if you ever need assistance outside these structured sessions, support is always just an email or phone call away.

How and when will I get paid?

Commissions are paid on the 10th of each month via Venmo.
Suppliers pay Clouds Avenue Travel directly, and once we receive their payments, your commissions are processed the following month.

Does CAT have seller of travel licensing in all states that require it?

Clouds Avenue Travel currently does not provide services to clients who reside in California, Hawaii, and Washington due to Seller of Travel License requirements and maintenance. In the future, Clouds Avenue Travel may chose to obtain a Seller of Travel License in one or more of the aforementioned states based on sales and demand for travel in those areas.

Am I considered an employee of Clouds Avenue Travel?

No, you are an Independent contractor (1099 based income) of Clouds Avenue Travel operating under our business entity and credentials. It is a commission-based role and is not a hourly position.

Am I required to obtain additional E&O Insurance?

CAT carries a $1,000,000 Errors & Omissions policy, but it is strongly recommended you get your own as well. However, is not required to do business.

What is your commission split?

Commission splits start at 70%. Our advisors earn up to 90% commission, based on production and experience.

Will I be able to keep my clients if I leave CAT?

As an independent contractor acting on behalf of Clouds Avenue Travel Inc, any leads provided by Clouds Avenue Travel or generated as a result of Clouds Avenue Travel’s marketing are considered clients of Clouds Avenue Travel Inc and neither leads nor clients can be serviced past the end of your contract and association with our agency.

Any leads you bring to Clouds Avenue Travel are your leads and can be taken with you unless they have already been converted to clients. Clouds Avenue Travel, however, retains the right to market to, solicit to, and service clients and leads brought in during your contracted term with Clouds Avenue Travel Inc.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, you will need to give CAT a minimum of a 30-day notice in writing for the cancellation. Refunds unavailable for unused monthly/annual subscription terms.
